Oooh yeah! And he's slashy! Er, well, his books are. He's just gay, because you don't get to be slashy when you're real, unless you're a hobbit or a boyband member.

ha. but clive, yeah. my only issue with his writing is the degree to which he takes himself far too seriously. but beyond that, i think he'd nail spike (literally and figuratively) and do a reasonable xander, and there'd be fabulous h/c
